The Sundar India recycled soaps are distributed to children from slum and tribal villages along with hand hygiene lessons each month. Young college girls work part time for our Hygiene campaign conveying the message of hygiene to the children. Sundar India has received support of the local government authorities, permission letters have been received from the Health and Education Officers of Dahanu Taluka. Sundar India has distributed around 35,000 bars of recycled soap bars till date.
The Hygiene Campaign includes a small skit on why washing hands with soap is important and how it can prevent diseases. The correct handwashing step is demonstrated by the Hygiene Angel’s, a hygiene video is shown to the children along with soap distribution.
